With almost upon us, children and adults alike are preparing to tuck into chocolate to celebrate.
As ever, the treats have been on UK supermarket shelves almost since the moment passed - much to the dismay of many. However, some Brits are only just realising Americans don't indulge in the same tradition, and it's left them in a state of shock.
"Americans, please tell me this isn't true," begged TikTok user Phoebe in a video. "I have just found out something about your country and I'm genuinely concerned for your wellbeing. I cannot even believe it."

Holding a large egg aloft, Phoebe continued, revealing she was still coming to to terms with the fact "American children wake up and they have nothing - they don't have one of these".
She continued: "This is what Easter is all about. It's crazy that Americans don't get it. I'm 23 years young and I still get an Easter egg bought for me by my parents. The fact you don't have it over there - I'm so, so sorry."
An American TikTok user admitted in response: "I'm very sad to report...alas, it's true. We are so deprived here." Others, meanwhile, explained that whilst they do in fact have Easter eggs, they are much different to their British counterparts.
"We have Easter eggs," an American said. "Either plastic ones you fill with candy or coins. Real eggs you paint. Large chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, Easter baskets, Easter is a pretty well known in the US."
Another added: "We get tiny plastic eggs with candy in them and the adults hide them outside for the kids to find them it’s called the Easter egg hunt." Whilst a third told Phoebe: "Rephrase: We don’t have Easter eggs the size of an emu’s egg. We certainly do (for the most part) receive chocolate eggs for Easter."
Meanwhile, American TikTok user, AJ Jannazzo took to the platform to reveal "just what American Easter aisle looks like" in a store. "There's no big Easter eggs," he said as he panned his camera around a variety of chocolate bunnies.
"No eggs there," he continued, pointing out a series of plastic Easter-themed toys including SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products. "They're eggs, but they're not chocolate - they're just filled with toys," AJ said. "They don't count."
"We do get Cadbury Creme chocolate filled eggs, but this is it - this is all we got. Packaged candy - no eggs. They're ain't an egg in sight in here. We have Peeps [a marshmallow Easter treat], but they're absolutely disgusting."
One Brit quipped in response: "No choccy eggs, no meat pies, no sausage rolls, no Vegemite... how do they even make it through the day?" Another was left stunned, asking: "What? No big eggs with a mug that will get left in the work cafeteria for the rest of eternity?"
Whilst a third British TikTok user pondered: "Why are none or the big companies like Hershey’s jumping on that? Seems like a money loss there."
